Default Is it correct to say this?

Yesterday, I responded "NO" to a RSVP. However, I changed my mind today and want to go. Can I say it like this?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi V ....,

Is it too late to reverse my response yesterday? I would like to attend the party. I will go by myself.

    Thank you,
    Thi

Tớ nghĩ dùng chữ change thay vì reverse.

Is it too late to change my response to your invitation?

Thank you Paddy. My biggest problem when I write is to keep thinking in Vietnamese and then try to translate that into English.... Sometimes, the simplest word does the job, but it doesn't come to mind at the time.

Anyway, I did use "change" in my email.

Thank you very much for your feedback,
    Thi.

Do we need a possessive adj. (my) here?

i'm not sure. If you say we do, then I will accept it as such. Come to think of it, having "my" there, does sound better.
Please feel free to correct my English.

văn nói thì không cần chữ my người ta cũng sẽ hiểu, nhưng văn viết thì nên rõ ràng ra.

    Thi,

Tôi không nói phải viết như thế "sound better", nhưng vì tôi thấy cái lổi về Văn Phạm quá rõ thì không tốt cho bạn! Too obvious!!!

You thought ====> to come to (verb)+ mind (noun)
I (or anybody) else could read it and undertood===> to come to (verb) + to mind (verb), and a question was given out....

Remember, English is one of the most precise languages in the world. Once, a correct English sentence in a conversation was stated, listeners definitely understood the same. The way you wrote caused a kind of ambivalence in my mind, and I had to figure it out to understand!
Please, understand that I am not picky. This is only my English learning process.
Thanks for paying your attention to the matter. No hard time.
