This is not a SMS. Just a picture I took with her that keep in her handphone. She named it as "Hinh tinh lang".
I will only give up of learning Vietnamese language for the same reason that I am learning it.
you must write this phrase with exactly accent so that we can help you to translate into vietnamese or you must tell us know the relationship between you and her and we can guess the meaning of this one. why don't you ask her directly? i think this is the best way to understand what she means.hihi

According to her explanation, I could translate
"Tinh lang" means "I love you. If you cheat on me, I will be very hurtful." (I dont think this is what "tinh lang" means)
But I still dont know what "tinh lang" mean. I guess it is "Tình lặng" = "The love in secret" or "The silent love (does this have same meaning?)"

Yea "tình lang" makes a good sense. It means "Lover". Nowadays, people rarely use this word.
