Hello,
It is a problem for me to understand where to place "cho" in a sentence, that has two objects. ( what we in German call an Akkusativ object ( the thing) and a Dativ object ( the person,who gets the thing).And to place the verbs.
Like this sentence : em gui qua cho chi. Could you instead also say: Em cho gui cho chi? It does not sound right, but what is the rule? I think I have read some where, that it is the same with the word "giup", when you have two objects.
Sorry, if this sound very confusing.

I have an extra question to this: "cho" can also add as a verb???? Ex. in a sentence like "Cho toi mot ly cam" , or does a sentence like this not have a verb?

So "cho" is a verb but can act as a kind of preposition in the sentence , you explained for me? Pasted below.

Assume that future tense is used and "em" is the speaker:

Em (sẽ) gửi quà cho chị = em sẽ gửi cho chị một món quà = Em sẽ gửi cho chị quà = I'll send you a gift = I'll send a gift to you

Em sẽ gửi qua cho chi = Em (sẽ) gửi cho chị = Em (sẽ) gửi chị = I'll send it to you
