i try to get an idea of what this phrase means: "chat duoc thi vac duoc", but it's hard with me, as i'm beginner. i see thi can mean an idea of sacrifice.. but i'm not sure.

Chặt được thì vác được ??? [if it] could [be] chopped then [it] could [be] carried [on shoulder]

Thí : sacrifice (like in chess)

Thì : therefore, then, to be.

i read that on a blog. actually the context is in english :
i just thought "chat duoc thi vac duoc" but now,it is impossible...how can i do it???..
actually it's about a relationship.. could it mean, if i cut it straight, i could tolerate it... hmmm.. :-?

I believe: "Chất được thi vác được": If you can load something onto (your shoulder, your arms...) you can carry it (obviously)
