    Default Some older Vietnamese

I'm trying to translate some Vietnamese from the early 1920s. I have:

Kính cáo Hoa kiều và Trung Quốc - Quốc dân Đảng

The problem is the "kính cáo". Is it maybe some sort of honorific where we are calling on the overseas Chinese about the National Party? Sometimes it is also written as "kỉnh cáo", but I suspect that this an error.

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can call it sort of honorific to the overseas Chinese and Kumingtang.

    Yes, it was a typo.

Kính cáo = Kính cẩn thông cáo
Thất bại lớn nhất của đời người là tự đại
Đáng thương nhất của đời người là tự ti.
Tự đại + Tự ti = thất bại đáng thương nhất

Thanks to all who replied about "kính cáo" - I should have realised the connection with "báo cáo" myself. I've decided that the best translation will probably be something like "memorandum" or "communiqué", both being more formal and higher level than mere "report" or "memo".
