Actually, Tricky42's translation is good enough to express the idea. However, I'd like to revise it a little bit so that it sounds more Vietnamese.

"Bác luôn luôn cho cháu cảm thấy được chào đón niềm nở mỗi khi cháu đến chơi nhà. Cháu cảm ơn bác rất nhiều.

Cháu chúc bác ngày Người Mẹ thật hạnh phúc."

Note: Richard, your Vietnamese is pretty cool. You can perfect it by improve your Vietnamese personal pronoun using. For example: Use "chau" or "con" to call yourself when talking to your friend's parents; only call you "em" when talking to the older brothers/sisters

You’re welcome. I have also used the minimum amount of corrections for Mahn’s and Phong’s suggestions as my suggestion was quite formal. I think it is best to teach the ‘pure’ version first.

Mahn, I think you are trying to use the gerund. If you want to do that then you might say:

There is no need to use and perfect and improve in such close proximity as they both mean much the same in this context.
