First, you should improve your vocabulary skills. If you don't have that skill, you will get limit when you compose brainstorm from the topic given. Next, I think you should find someones who have been good with English writing, and are willing to dedicate their time to review and correct your writing. They can tell your writing right or wrong in each sentence from your writing, and also explaining in detail and giving the solution how to make it in better. Finally, You should read essays or articles from others, and learn from them. At that way, I think you probably have a way to improve your writing skills. Good luck!

Hey, YukoTesnow. You have misunderstood the idea abow, two of them are discussing how to be good at writing, and in my opinion, for that purpose, their idea is very good. I also agree with you if your idea is used for improving speaking skill.
    Cheers.

    Hi,
To improve on writing, a better way is to read a book (English books) so you can not only learn new vocabulary but also learn how native speaker say about something. As a college student in English class, I have to read a lot to do my homeworks. My teachers do not pay to much attention on grammar. They just give their students a lot of reading. Thus, if you try to do it, I think your writing skill will improve without your attention one day. Anyway, I hope it will help you sometime.
    Good luck to you

Dissertation Writing in English can be either process or product-based, so even native English language speakers can experience problems with organizing, composing, drafting and editing a written piece in their own first language. So if you are nervous about writing at first, don't worry too much about that.
