    2.The visitors beat our team.
3.I'll inform you the moment we arrive there.
4.She has been very happy since her marriage to Tom.
    5.There is no more petrol.
6.It is six hours from here to An Giang province.
7.The original sentence is incorrect, and it doesn't make sense to try to transform it with the word 'nowhere'.
8.The response to the charity appeal was very poor.
9.His pride does not allow him to admit that he was wrong.
10.Not as many people live in Washington as in New York. ('As ... as' preferred to 'so ...as' when making a comparison.)
11.The pop star insisted that the claims against him were unfounded.
12.We declaim any responsibility for valuables that are not left in the hotel safe.
13.We fundamentally disagree about most things.
14.I find it difficult to go along with such an idea.
15.The conflict between (the) members of the committee has delayed the project.

Anyone who teaches me one word - even half a word - is still my teacher.
    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Same here, DT. But It isn't just that "kick the bowl". It is more like a beggar cursed to a charity who had dropped a coin out side of his bowl.

Thất bại lớn nhất của đời người là tự đại
Đáng thương nhất của đời người là tự ti.
Tự đại + Tự ti = thất bại đáng thương nhất

An excuse is when you don't have a good reason.

    Agree.
So "Explain" opposite to "excuse"? I mean if we have a "good reason" we should say "explain" instead of "excuse"?
