Poor thing: Tội nghiệp.
It's alright: Được. Không sao đâu. (to assure or comfort?)

Đâu is a question word, also a word which is added to the end of a sentence to make it complete and understandable ....like "Nị hủ má" in Chinese."

Đau ===> pain
Đâu ===> where and as mentioned above.
Không sao đâu = It is alright. It does not matter. Not a big deal.
