Question on sentence structure

So i've been studying VN for six months and now know why im in a rut. I need to learn sentence structure. I know one.

1. Subject - verb - object.

I'd appreciate some more !

I know english well and will help out wherever i can. Cam on!!

For the most part, Vietnamese is an SVO language. However it is also a Topic prominent language, in other words, puts emphasis on the topic of a sentence. For example:

Sách này, tôi đã đọc qua rồi = This book, I have already read (through).\

Some example:

I gave him a book = Tôi cho anh ấy một cuốn sách
He told me that... = Ông ta/anh ta nói với tôi rằng/là......

In this case, it is similar to English grammar
