    "I hope nothing is happen to you"
    I will only give up of learning Vietnamese language for the same reason that I am learning it.

    Hi, do you mean "I hope you are OK and that nothing is wrong"? because the English doesn't make too much sense I'm afraid.. sorry :-(

    I think he mean that. But there is a point makes me feel confused "I hope nothing is happen to you". I guess the meaning of this sentence is "you are doing something daringly and I hope it won't hurt you in the future".
    If I guess right, I can translate it easily in word-by-word "Tôi hi vọng không có gì xảy đến cho bạn"

    My suggestions:
    (1) either "he means" or "he meant" is grammartically correct.
    (2) "Point" is the subject of "is". So it requires a pronoun like "which or that" to be the subject of "makes."

    Perhaps, you hope ever'thing is OK with her/him
