Words not in the dictionary

I just started studying Vietnamese. It seems like rather simple words are not appearing in Vdict dictionary. For example, "America" and "Đạ" Both these words appear in the first chapter of my book, but are not in the dictionary. Why is that?

Sorry, the word I meant to say was "Dạ"

As I said before, "Mỹ" is also not in the Vdict dictionary.

Mỹ mãn (rare) be satisfied


Dạ: (interjection) yes (to use it when we say with older people or superior)
Dạ: (n) ( lòng dạ) heart, in one's heart;
Dạ: (n) felt (a kind of cloth)
Dạ: (n) (rare) night (Chinese-Vietnam language)
Dạ: Units of weights and measures of the West region of Vietnam people. It's about 0.1 metre block.

If we couple this two words together we'll have "mỹ dạ". It means kindness or kindheart.

I think it because the Viet_English in Vdict hasn't been perfect yet , so if you have anything that needed you can post your quest in here . Chính xác, đây là chữ dạ trong dạ hội ( tiệc đêm ) , dạ quang ( phát sáng trong bóng tối). " thiên dạ hàn" trong 1 bài thơ của Đỗ Phủ có nghĩa là "ngàn đêm lạnh". Trong một bài thơ của Hồ Chí Minh có một câu " Nhất thứ kê đề dạ vị lan" dịch ra là "gà gáy một lần đêm chửa tan".
"Đoạn" Từ điển trên là do em tự biên soạn, nếu có sai sót xin các huynh, tỷ chỉ giáo.
