Cho Mẹ sao ngủ trên trời
Trăng du đáy nước rừng mời dấu chân
Cho mẹ giọng hát thiên thần
Sóng xô tiếng nhạc mỗi lần mẹ ru
Cho mẹ miền ấy sang thu
Gío lay lá gọi sương mù bao quanh
Cho mẹ mùa ấy thanh bình
Ôm con với mộng đăng trình trong tay

Giving You (My Mother)

I want to give you the resting stars on sky
The wandering moon in water and the inviting wood
I want to give you the sound of angelic songs
The sounds of waves that mixed with the lulling songs
I want to give you that place changing to autumn
Winds gently stir the leaves in the fog
I want to give you that peaceful season
Holding a child with a leaving wish (her child is about to leave)

So the stirring Winds call the dew to settle on leaves
That peaceful season is for you- Mum
Holding me with a hope of that I would grow up well.
