Dear Podagar!
In Việt Nam, Vietnamese only use "em" when they talk with one who younger than them. "Em" is not same "you" or "all of you" that you used above. "Em" is also different from every other word in English. So you can't say "chào em" instead of "hi all" or "hello everybody". You may say "chào mọi người" or " chào các bạn" instead of "hi all".
I don't like English, I hate foreign language My English is very "banana" But I must use it So i want to learn English and I can teach Vietnamese for who need it

Hi there, thanks for your comments, but I do think you are younger than me so no disrespect intended.
Please enjoy foreign language even colonist ones like English.
English was once under siege from invaders but now has encompassed many languages and become dominant and creative because of it,my english language heritage gives me the tools to deconstruct my own culture and we must always be sceptical of conservative notions of language.
Best wishes, cam on, John.
