Hi, i would like to know your opinion on following issue.

I´ve been dating a Vietnamese girls for 6 months already, we both live in Czech republic. Iam Czech and she lives here since her childhood, now she´s 24.
She didnt tell her parents that we have a relationship and she told me she wanted to wait till we are together at least half a year. It passed now and talked to her parents. Unfortunately, what happen is that her father denied her as his daughter, kicked her out of the house and told her, if she gonna marry me he will commit a suicide. I could not believe this! I know that some Vietnamese parents may be strict or traditional but this too much in my opinion.

I think the first step now is you have to meet her father privately and talk straightforward as 2 men with each other... and try to make faith from him

OMG!
I think all of u should sit down together and talk like men about this matter instead of avoiding it. I know it's really hard to make her parent change their mind but it's the only best thing u can do at this moment

This tactic was used by many vietnamese parents in the bad old days. He only tried to steer his daughter from you by threatening to take his own life. If he does it for real, that's good! One less stupid man in this world. I feel it for you man!
