I am Vietnamese American. I have been in the United States since 1972, so I lost my native tongue of Vietnamese. I am looking forward to visiting Vietnam soon. I have family in Vietnam. I might stay if I like it in Vietnam. I was so young when we moved to USA, I don't remember what it looks like. My Mom recently travelled to Vietnam for a month. When I tried to call her on the telephone no one at the hotel knows how to speak English. Needless to say I did not get her on the telephone. I would like to learn how to speak Vietnamese someday to end the language barrier. It is frusterating at times.
