    ?? without the tone, I'm not sure but I think it's tối in which case it means I'm scared your wife knows far too much

    toi qua = tối qua: last night

    maybe it is:
    ... I'm scared your wife knows what happened last night

    I thought about last night but because I didn't see "ve toi qua" nor any tones I felt the meaning was "far too much"

    So, the sentence is "I'm scared your wife knows about last night" ??

    um, but I don't find out any word more suitable than "tối qua".
    "về tối qua" or "chuyện tối qua" sounds better but I think somehow she said "tối qua" and it was still clear enough and acceptable

    Yes... either translation seems to amount to the meaning! But that's by accident!! haha
