I am keeping a blog in hopes of imparting my knowledge of AMERICAN English to you folks. Here's me in a nutshell. I taught English in Vietnam for eight years before I came to the US for graduate studies. I finished my Masters degree and am now a PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University.

It's good that you're trying to help. I assume you're Vietnamese. What major are you a PhD candidate in at Carnegie Mellon, computer science or engineering?
