do you go to work today? . " today" not " yesterday" , so we can't use "did" .

if in the late afternoon or evening/ after the shift "did you work today?" or "did you go to work today?"
if in the morning or before the shift "are you working today?" or "do you work today?" or "are you going to work today?"

"hom nay anh co di lam khong".

    Thanks.
If you go to work at 7 AM and the question comes before 7 AM the right sentence is :
Hom nay anh co di lam khong? = Are you going to work today/Shall you go to work today?

If you go to work at 7AM and the question comes in the afternoon or evening the right sentence is:
Hom nay anh co di lam khong? = Did you go to work today?

Did you go to work today? is OK for a question that asks about a past event.
Are you going to work today? is the correct way of asking about someone's intentions

Will you go to work today? is undertstandable but L1 English speakers would not say this
Shall you go to work today? is also undertstandable but no English speaker would ever say this

    I hope that helps!

Hôm nay anh có đi làm không? = Are you working today?
This question can be made before and during office, for example, one is on duty and another calls him by phone, asking 'Hôm nay anh có đi làm không?' There is no definition of working time in the original question. And after office, the question must be in past tense.
But, Hôm nay anh có đi làm không? can be translated to "Do I have to go to work today?" if, for example, a husband asks his wife.
