Default "bây giờ" is now, but is there another word for now that sounds like "linh"?

If you asked me to order someone to open a door, I would say something like, "mở cửa linh!"

But I tried finding the word "linh" but I couldn't find it. I was never formally trained in Viet, I just grew up learning it because my family spoke it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is this correct usage? Thanks.

I guess you are looking for the word "liền".

If "Linh" was used correctly in your sentence, it should be a name of a person.
Nhất tự vi sư , bán tự vi sư
    ---
    1st Version:
Anyone who teaches me one word - even half a word - is still my teacher.
    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Please correct my grammar as you see fit. Much appreciated!
