Thất bại lớn nhất của đời người là tự đại
Đáng thương nhất của đời người là tự ti.
Tự đại + Tự ti = thất bại đáng thương nhất

I don't know where you copied the sentence above, but it is not in the right format. That was why nobody could understand it. It should be like this:

Một người cư ngụ cùng nhà với cử tri khiếm diện, người phối ngẫu.

    khiếm diện means absent.

    Người phối ngẫu means spouse.

I don't think this is a complete sentence because it does not make much sense.

Một người cư ngụ cùng nhà với cử tri bỏ phiếu qua thơ, người phối ngẫu.

It is not a complete sentence in neither English nor Vietnamese. Why don't post the English version so we can help you translate it.

Sorry to point this out Paddy. Just to alert those learning English to avoid double negatives. The correct form should be

"It is not a complete sentence in either English or Vietnamese."

That Vietnamese sentence may comes out like the one below.

"Một người cư trú trong cùng hộ gia đình bỏ phiếu bằng thư như một cử tri(người phối ngẩu) vắng mặt."

Xin các bác "hướng đạo" cho Ltdra câu tiếng Anh đi!

    How about this.
A person residing in the same household votes by mail as the absent voter, the spouse.
