    - I think, there is a difference between the two sentences here.
May be, the sentence "can you help me out?" comes from "Can you help me out of a dificulty?". It means that you are coming up against a difficulty and you need help so much.
When you say "Can you help me?",maybe, you need help but not much and you can manage to get out of the dificulty

    - Help yourself! means "mời ông xơi" or "tự tiện".
for example: you are helping yourself to my computer (bạn đang tự tiện sử dụng cái máy tính của tôi).

    correction:

Help out is a verb phrase and has the same meaning as help. It does not mean to help to a finish.

    20. help out, to assist in an effort; be of aid to

Thank you two guys. But I still think there maybe exist some differences between those sentences. What do the rest of you think?
