A successful college student should have three qualities. First of all, a successful college student ought to be organized and have a plan for his education. He should talk to professors or counselors about the courses that he needs to take. Organizing his time and work is also important because this helps him finish his projects on time. The second quality of a successful college student is preparation. During lectures, professors cover units only once and quickly. Therefore, preparing for classes is vital in order to get good grades. A college student should finish his homework and read over the next chapter of the textbook before class, for doing those things will facilitate him have ideas about the lecture. The final quality that a successful college student should have is attentiveness. A good student does not want to miss anything in class. He needs to take notes well; moreover, he can ask for permission to record lectures. In conclusion, these are three qualities that a college student needs to have for success.

Some people watch TV excessively for three reasons. First of all, people watch TV excessively because it does not require much intellectual activity. Researchers learn that most people in the U.S. watch TV for four hours per day at night. After being busy all day long, some people feel extremely tired, and they prefer to relax. Furthermore, watching TV is the most comfortable way for them to do. Moreover, seniors and children have a lot of free time since they do not have much work to do. As a result, they watch TV recklessly all day. The second reason why people watch TV excessively is related to addiction. When they see an interesting show or a movie that they love, they cannot stop themselves from watching it until it ends. In addition, they may want to replay it over and over again. The final reason why people watch TV excessively is that it is inexpensive. Nowadays, most families can afford more than one TV for their house, since there are many low prices and types of TV from which they can choose. Watching TV also does not cost them much except for electricity. In conclusion, these are three reasons why people watch TV excessively.
