    Default Xin chao qwi-vee:)

Phai, toi beik my Vietnamese writing is bad. You should hear me speak it. haha
I just got back from 3 weeks in Vietnam. Had a great time but troi oi . .nomg wah (qua?)!!!
I tried to learn Vietnamese with Rosetta Stone. Although they make it fun, I dont recommend this at all because I was taught mostly things I would never say to someone. Such as (forgive the spelling pls):
-con ngua dang nyay (the horse is jumping)
-cac em trai tren ban (all the boys are on the table)

Anyone thinking of going, do it. Its so much fun and ppl are so nice. Sure, I almost died in a free-falling elevator in HCM and a minimum of 2 showers/day is required but everything else was great.

a free-falling elevator = a elevator is fallen because of breaking cables???
If so, it's terrible! Or you imply that it goes so fast?

    Chao!
Xin loi, when I said 'free-falling' elevator I mean the cables break toi nghie (i think). We were on the 10th floor and the elevator starts to fall very fast. I see the floor #s lights going 10-9-8-7-6-5- . . .very fast (nhang)! A girl on elevator banged her head very hard on ceiling. The elevator stopped very hard on the 2nd floor. Everyone was ok but very suh (scared?).

The happy/vui parts of the trip:
    1) Toi an nhieu! Toi an Bo Luc Lac, Pho Ga, Bun thit nuong, ban xeo.
    2) When I went to Ben Thanh market, I can understand what people say about me. For example, when I didn't buy a ao (shirt) this woman got mad and call me 'ugly'. I didnt need to translate because she said this in english. I told her, 'noi lau, toi dep qua va toi biet co muon om (hug) yuy toi'. I hope you can understand this
    3) Nha Trang&VinPearl Island is very nice.

Cam on nhieu everyone, I am very excited to howp more vietnamese.
    Ok, toi cun di ngu.

    Haha, so fun
I think that your Vietnamese is rather good.
Just want to say hi and revise some of your misspellings.
    1. I think = tôi nghĩ
    2. fast = nhanh
    3. scared = sợ
    4. ban xeo = bánh xèo [ dont know this word in English ]
    5. noi lau = tell a lie = nói láo/ nói xạo
    6. howp = study = học
    7. cun = also = cũng

    Good night.
