A foreigner travelled to Vietnam, he employed an interpreter to follow and teach him Vietnamese. When they arrived at a landscape, they wanted to go to toilet. The foreigner went firstly, after that was the interpreter. After a longtime of waiting, the foreigner called the interpreter in Vietnammese.
- Anh xong chưa?
- Còn xơi! - the intepreter replied.
The foreigner didnot understand what the word "xơi" means and asked a Vietnamese about that word:
- Làm ơn cho tôi hỏi, từ xơi trong Tiếng Việt có nghĩa là gì?
- Ah, là ăn, măm măm, ngon ngon!
