Default Please ! Help me essay execrise

    HI all guys :
this is a execrise 3 in my skill lab , but I do not understand the requireisment of this .every one who can speak to me what is require of this exercise. is it says writing the ontline of essay right ?

Following are selections from a student's prewriting notes on the foods of southern India.

    Read the notes.

    pickles: garlic, chili, mango, lime
    chutneys: coconut, mango, mint, chili

Three distinct areas: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh
Three distinct cuisines, but share a common heritage
All three rely on rice, lentils, coconut, and spices.
Similar dishes: pancakes; pickles and chutneys; rice dishes
It's a matter of a theme and variations.

rice dishes: coconut rice, tomato rice, lemon rice
rice variation: pulao in Andhra Pradesh

Important: Be sure to repeat the point that there are differences and similarities.
Say it again: theme and variations
The variations are very important to the individuality of the areas. They give each one its individual “flavor.”

pancakes: dosa (crisp rice and lentil pancake), uthapam (softer rice and lentil pancake) throughout the area
pancake variation: appam is Kerala variation (steamed rice pancake)
pancake variation: sabudana uthapam (palm flour pancake) in Andhra Pradesh

Now arrange the notes into a rough outline of the classic essay structure by organizing them into notes for an introduction, body, and conclusion.

    Kutron,
    1. You claim that your first language is English? You made many mistakes in your post.

    2. Which part don't you understand? You already highlighted in red the requirement for your excercise.

    3. Try to do it first, post it here and people will correct it for you (if there are any mistakes).

It looks good to me. It seems like you are doing a "compare and contrast" essay.

Intro: what is same and what is different in Indian cusine.

    Body: 3 examples.

Conclusion: same "root" but due to variation of spice/materials which gives distinct "flavor" for each regions.

BTY, just out of curiousity, what nationality is yours?
