Hello everyone,
My name is Binh. I have been using vdict for some time now, but never really noticed the community tab until today.
I've lived in the U.S., specifically Lincoln, Nebraska, since 1976.
I have recently taken an interest in improving my Vietnamese.
I can speak, read, and understand rudimentary Vietnamese. It's the difficult topics like business, government, and science that I have difficulty with. That is why I use vdict, but sometimes I find the translation really odd or lacking.
On another note, I have read some posts from other members who want to know how they can learn to speak English better with the correct pronunciation.
Although I have never used the Speaking English Podcast for iTunes personally, I think it might be a good source for those who wish to learn correct pronunciation as well as listening. There are also podcasts from tv stations like ABC news, CBS news, and CNN.
