Thanks Paddy! I actually do attend a VN class for kids. I am in grade 3 of 10 and the ages of the kids in my class are from 12-17 (I am 21). The class is great, but it only meets once per week for 3 hrs at a time. So I try to do some extra to allow for more learning. I actually learned the term lập kế in that class.

-làm phiền- to annoy; Thằng ở chung phòng tôi làm phiền tôi nhiều quá. (My roommate annoys me so much.)

-đùa- to joke; Thằng kia không biết bao giờ ngừng việc đùa. (That dude does not know when to stop joking around.)

-bảo- to force; Má tôi bảo tôi đi nhà thờ. (My mom makes me go to church.)

-đụ- to fuck; Đụ đời tôi. (Fuck my life.) *uh...I say this a lot in English.

-hờn- to resent; Tôi hờn đời tôi. (I hate my life.) *this too..

-ngáp- to yawn; Tôi hay ngáp ở trong lớp tại vì lớp chán quá. (I often yawn in class because it is so boring.)

Lập kế ??? I think this is a new word from VN. Maybe English Learner can shed more light on this. I use mưu sinh (more formal) or kiếm ăn (less formal).

I never see people use the term "lập kế" stand alone, unless its "lập kế hoạch"-"to plan"

hờn - it's used to describe the feeling when you are mad at someone who u love. If I put these synonyms in level the order could be like follow

Hờn< giận <ghét < thù = hận

That guy does not ever know to stop joking =thằng đó có bao giờ biết ngừng đùa cợt đâu.

Tôi không biết bao giờ (thì) tôi trở lại = I don't know when I'll be back

However, if you say "tôi đụ mẹ đời tôi", it sounds so rude. You can reduce the rudeness by saying : Tôi sổ toẹt vào đời tôi.

1. Personally, I think "đụ" is a very very rude word to say. I will not be very happy to hear it, and if it's from a girl then it's even worse.
I think, if you really want to use a rude work, then there are other words that are less rude, for example "má", or "má nó",... Tho still rude, they are less rude.

2. Hờn: this word rarely stands alone, it has to stand with other words to express the "degree" of resentment such as "căm hờn" or "giận hờn"

Phiền == bother. Mình không muốn làm phiền bạn, mình đi taxi được rồi == I don't want to bother you, I can take a taxi.

Bảo == tell [to do something]. Mẹ bảo tôi đi mua bánh mỳ. [My] mom told me to go buy [some] bread.

Ngáp == die (slang). Nó ngáp rồi. He died.

Hờn còn có nghĩa là hysterical nữa. Đứa nhỏ đang hờn == little toddler is hysterical.

To use as verb, all you need is tán. Tôi thích tán gái.

I would translate về sau này as "after this point in time". It implies the future, but you should be aware of its true meaning.
