    tradition, in new year, children will make a wish to parents & adult and adult will give a red envelope to children after that

    Don't forget, the red envelopies usually be given to the children (or to the relattives who are still single with a poor income) , old parents, grant parrents, or from boss to his/her employees, from the people who own the others some of favors during the year on the New year , this is kind of "money wise" , though.
