I just about started it, the cheat had been found.
Or
The cheat had been found right on the time I just had it started.
Or
I got caught right on the time I just started the cheat.
"Chưa kịp lừa" cũng có nghĩa là chưa thực hiện ý định thì làm sao bị "phát hiện" ta ?

My version:

I got caught red handed when my swindling scheme was in progress.

A beautiful girl made acquaintance with me when I had just entered the forum.

I got threatened by that girl's lover when I had walked in the public meeting place.

to be caught red handed means to be caught at the scene = bị bắt quả tang.
to catch sb red handed = to catch sb in the act of doing sth wrong or committing a crime

Try and avoid the verb to get. It can usually be replaced by a verb that provides a better description of the action.
