wow! why miserable fija? i'm sure my perspective (as a visitor on vacation) is much different than someone who lives there. I know my friends in VN, have many problems/trouble with employment...trying to make ends meet, etc. i can only comment on my experiences as a visitor to your country. i also hope that you are okay...that things change for the better for you! if you want to talk/tell me what's up, you know my email. as your friend, i will always be there for you & think positive thoughts for you!

My name is Vũ Hồng Tâm. You are thirty years younger than I. I'm living in Ho Chi Minh City. Nice to meet you, Im Winds. To learn a language, the most important thing is to try oneself, that means, once you want to learn, you will find out ways to improve your skill. This is the same way as to do something. Once you wish to do, you will try this way or other in order to reach what you're aiming at. One good way to learn (English) is to choose a good book, for example New Testament to read each sentence, repeat and repeat until you can read without opening the book (to learn by heart = học thuộc lòng) then go with another sentence and paragraph. By this way you will have rich vocabulary including words arranged in good grammar. New Testament is written by many wise man and it lasts tens of centuries. Learning by heart with this book you will have another knowledge that will surprise you, I think. And, another good way is to write your diary. Writing a diary, you will express just a normal life, everything you experience in a simple day but to write this, you will complete your vocabulary once you have no word to write, you will look in a dictionary or ask your friend here. Well, good luck Im Winds. I reply here in English in order you will try to understand it and by understanding it, you will learn some. Good luck!

This is what I hear people use a lot:
"Wish you, your family, and your love one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

(You dont need to put all: his/her family and his/her love one in the wish, it can be anybody)
Nhất tự vi sư , bán tự vi sư
    ---
    1st Version:
Anyone who teaches me one word - even half a word - is still my teacher.
    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Please correct my grammar as you see fit. Much appreciated!
