Wow! we have two experts in this topic one is a chemist, another is physicist. I am very glad to meet both of you in Vdict. Now, I am studying materials science that is very interesting for me. I have found a free electronic version of "Introduction to Solid state physics" which is writen by Charles Kittel. You could send me one if possible. Thanks in advance!

PS: Please correct me if I make any mistake

It's good to have you here as well hdungbeat. I'm pretty sure there are other technical people on this forum; for example, Ducphu is an IT engineer.

By the way, there is a big difference between chemistry (hóa học) and chemical engineering (công nghệ hay kỹ thuật hóa), both in education and in practice. Nowadays, chemical engineers apply knowledge from many fields (chemistry, physics, biology, genetics, etc.) to manufacture many products (such as oil, plastics, chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals) as well as develop processes to purify water and clean up the environment, to name a few. In other words, as a chemical engineer I am not an expert in chemistry; I only know enough about chemistry to appy it in my work.
