Chắc là vì ý người ta bi giờ các con thú cũng đang bị tuyệt chủng từ từ ! Nên dùng hiện toại hoàn thành .

Anh phải nhớ là động từ "may" là một trong những động từ đặc biệt (như will, shall, should, would ...), động từ theo sau phải giữ nguyên thể.

Ex:
it may "happen": có thể xảy ra bây giờ (happen không chia thì)
it may "have happened": có thể đã xảy ra (have không chia thì)

may happen có thể xẩy ra (hiện tại)

might happen có thể đã xẩy ra (mới đây hoặc rõ thời điểm như hôm qua, tuần rôì)

may have happened có thể đã xẩy ra (không rõ thời gian: present perfect).

Vì cái này là đoán chừng nên phải dùng present perfect.

May không đổi thành might là vì verb TO SUGGEST
