    I'm Thai and want able to read Tieng Viet. i can speak already.
    will your guy introduce me a book that i can print from the web and learn from it?

    i already got dictionary.

    it depends on the kind of books you're interested in.

    reading newspapers is also a good and attractive way to learn. try vnexpress.net, tuoitre.com.vn and so on

    Just FYI, my Vietnamese language page has vocabulary lists for a number of Vietnamese language textbooks as well as the VNEDICT (Vietnamese-English Dictionary) project : a free, downloadable / searchable, VN-EN dictionary with over 52,000 entries

    There are a couple of books for reading Vietnamese, but they all presuppose at least some knowledge of Vietnamese (i.e. not for beginners). In fact, the only "reading" textbook I know that doesn't presuppose (much) Vietnmaese is "Read Vietnamese" by Nguyen Dinh Hoa, but it's ancient and long out of print.
