Human. I think human will most get hit because in normaly human taller than cow and linghtning loves to strike the poles (as human look like one).

Even if the lightning hits the ground very close to the cow and human, cow still has chance to survive rather than human because those thick nails on their feet which are unable for the electricity runs through.

The cow will most likely die from lightning striking the ground. The reason is their legs are farther apart than legs of human. When lightning hits the ground, it creates voltage differences radiating from where it hits. Since legs of the cow are farther apart, the potential difference (voltage) will be higher, thus, they are more likely to die.

This is why in a thunder storm on an open field, it is advisable to squat (ngồi chồm hổm) and keep both feet together.

Here is an interesting fact. With high speed camera, people have captured what really happens when lightning strikes a tree. The spark actually goes up from the tree to meet the arc coming down from the cloud.
