VDICT is a waste time and effort

I need to let off some steam and to raise my voice against the decision of VDICT to remove my post of new articles relating to Vietnam. Correct me If I am wrong, one the goals of this website is to assist learners of English and other languages to master the language.

Most of the articles I have posted are in English which I think interesting and might attract readers, especially news articles cover events occur in Vietnam therefore with interest, readers can improve their English skills and learn the modern English writing technique from those articles demonstrated by prominent news reporters in UK, USA and Australia.

Sadly for some reasons, VDICT removes those articles which are undoubtedly harmless and have no political orientation.

It has been a waste of time and effort!!

It may be that they are concerned for your safety. I read the articles before they were deleted, and at the time I thought "Oh, given her country's reaction to dissent, I hope this does not cause camtieu trouble...."

What is or is not political is in the eye of the beholder. What seems innocently informative to one may seem very provocative to another.

Anyway, based on what I have seen of your posts, they have been helpful and not at all a waste of your time.

camtieu..I think they are trying to keep this site free of politics..thus may be that is why politics is one of those taboo topics.. as for helping people there are many ways.. many other articles to choose from

camtieu, I try to find news articles online that have current events and activities inside of Viet Nam. I am not promoting one side or another of any publication but it is unfortunate for those of us who are not Vietnamese but love your language and interested in your culture that it seems the only resource I've been able to find is VOV Online. I tried a FaceBook site, bbc Vietnamese (UK), but, if I am correct, it appears to promote an anti-Viet Nam point of view and is, thus, is not useful for someone like myself who wishes only to practice reading & writing the Vietnamese language and learning about your contemporary culture within Viet Nam.
My Native American people were divided then eventually conquered by those, the Europeans, who know how to divide a people amongst themselves. They have been at it for thousands of years and they are good at it.
I would be be very pleased if you might help me to find such online sites as resources for me to practice reading & writing the Vietnamese language because I am interested in learning more about the people of a culture that managed to unify, defend and survive the threats against it.
