I am not trying to be silly about this, but does the name have the - marks between the letters? Đa-ni-ên. I guess what I am asking is, how would be spelled exactly if it were on a memorial, just the name Daniel? Thank you.
The name Đa-ni-ên is just written phonetically when the bible was translated from french to Vietnamese. There is no "real" translation. And yes it does have the hyphens. But I'm not sure if many Vietnamese is familiar with that name.
