This is an excellent translation. You must be in the electrical "field"!

Can the last sentence
(Thiết bị này có thể sử dụng được trong các ứng dụng phát hiện dòng điện dò và xác định khoảng cách)
be translated as "This instrument can be used in applications regarding (current) leak detection and distance determination"?

Xin hỏi thêm là tiếng Việt cho "instrument" và "equipment" có khác không?

I was graduated as an Electronic engineer, but working in software field ever since, so most of my electronic knowledge and jargons are lost.
Actually, I think the word "thiết bị" in the last sentence should be translated to "device" rather than "instrument".
In most cases, "instrument", "device" and "equipment" are all translated to "thiết bị"

To ncchinh: dòng điện dò mình dùng là "leak current" có được không? bởi vì leak thì chung chung quá có thể bị hiểu sang là dòng nước dò.

It is too hard to distinguish between translation "equipment" and translation "instrument" in to Vietnamese. I think ncchinh is correct in saying that "instrument", "device" and "equipment" are all translated to "thiết bị" but in music, instrument means nhạc cụ I know an American company that produces a lot of electric devices it's name is Texas Instruments .

Please correct me if I make any mistakes!
