Dương Đào

Hello friends,

I am a girl scout leader (Hướng Đạo) and I have a patrol (đội) named Dương Đào.

Is that a flower? plant? I know đào is "peach" but what is dương? Ocean?

We need to have a patrol flag and it needs to have a symbol. For example I have another đội named Thiên Nga (swan), Hướng Dương (sunflower), and Sơn Ca (nightingale)

What do I do?

Please advise.

Co the la hoa ANH DAO nhu bai ca Hoa Anh Dao, nghi ngay den Nhat Bon...hoa co mau do sam. "Duong" co the la mat troi, lien tuong den mau vang hay cam, sau cung la do nhu mat troi lan.....
Tai sao khong chon la HOA ANH DAO? Vi dao nay hay hon dao kia Peach!!!

Tôi nghĩ, Dương = biển, Còn chữ Đào, cứ để nguyên thủy nó là một động từ thuần Việt. Như vậy ta sẽ có một Đội tên là " Đào Biển " . Nó vừa thể hiện một ý chí mạnh mẽ của Thanh niên - Hướng đạo sinh (làm một việc tưởng chừng như không thể), vừa có một cái gì đó rất Việt.
Đây chỉ là một lời nói đùa để góp vui, đừng để ý. please don't angry me!
