Haha, vietnamese pronouns can be confusing.
Literally speaking, Anh: older brother, em: younger brother/sister. Now, when you use these pronouns for someone who are not really blood related to you, the words can mean:

    1. Anh: I/me. Use this when you are talking to a younger person (but not too much younger, say about 10 years max), or your lover (if you are male)

    2. Em: You. Use this when the person is younger than you (please see point 1)

    Note note note:
    1. When you use Anh ấy (lit that brother) meaning a third person (he/him), and of course older than you

    2. Anh can also mean you, but in this case the person talking to you will call himself/herself either by "em", name, or "tôi" (it is very very "formal" to call the someone you are talking to "anh" and call yourself "tôi", not good ^_^. This is a negative sign in my opinion)

    3. if you are talking to someone older (no matter what gender), you can also call yourself "em". In this case you have to address the person you are talking to as "anh"/"chị".

Also a special note: sometimes, even when a woman is older than you, they prefer to be called by names instead (you know, women *_*)

Anyhow, my explanation should cover the basic cases, and since you are not Vietnamese people will forgive you if you make a mistake. The worst thing is that they will have a good laugh and then will tell you the correct pronouns you should use, dont worry.

You want to say it this way: "Em có thấy vui không khi anh tới Việt Nam thăm em?"

    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Please correct my grammar as you see fit. Much appreciated!
