    What is gieng? Gieng is in Vietnamese. I need to know what is a english name for it. It some kind of roots. Not nghe and not ginger.

    The first thing that comes to mind when I see that word is a well, as in a source of something or a hole drilled into the earth to obtain water.

    Exactly his mean "Giềng" not "Giếng"

    Giềng is not "Nghệ" (saffron). Giềng similar views on ginger but not ginger
