Make sure the sentence is correct.

The sentence was a little clumsy. Chickendog, may I leave the translation to you? :-)
A statement may cause a syntax error to be produced even though it is grammatically correct. This may cause some confusion.
Is this about English or programing language???

Good question Chickendog. The original statement may well refer to program code as it is a little ambiguous; in which case I would amend my recommendation to:
Program code may produce a syntax error (during compilation) even though the syntax is correct. This may cause some confusion.
btw (by the way) I work in IT!
.... and thank you Manh..
I wish my Vietnamese to be as good as my English!
