Today is my first day of the second semester in college. I have some homework, but I dont understand what the the instructor implies in his words.

    Here is his words:

    Suggested Homework Problems:
    Section ------- Problems:
    1.1 ------- #1-43eoo, 45-63o.
    1.2 ------- #1-70o, 79, 84

I asked him what 'eoo' mean, and he said, "each other 'e'." But I still dont get it.

Can some one give me some idea about 'eoo'?

    hi,

i am not hundred percent sure of this, but i found this abbreviation pretty interesting so i googled it a bit, the abbreviation eoo probably stands for "each other odd" eg 1-43eoo means you should resolve problem number 1,3,5,7,9... so on so forth.

pls let us know if you later find the correct understanding. thank you.

    Thank you so much, Chiefsmoke!
According to your answer, I found out "eoo" stands for "every other odd". I might forget the exact words my instructor said.
And every other odd means every odd problem, such as 1,3,5,7,9.....
