    Default Thanks to everyone!

Thank you to all who have provided help and infỏrmation recently! Can anyone tell me how the words "tem" and "buu chinh" are diferent? Are they used differently when writing. Can someone translate: "quyet giu vung troi hai gao cua to quọc" these words appear on a 1979 tem quan doi. Does anyone have an opinion on"Rosetta Stone" Vietnamese-English language study course on CD-Rom? I will be starting a website without political correctness about Khu Buu Chinh (RVNAF) and Tem Quan Doi (VNDCCH) study and collecting. Any member who knows a quan luc or chu luc who can help with knowledge, please have them respond. Sorry I do not know how to place diacritical mák on letters and words I ask about!

    Best Regards to all,

You stick " tem "( postage stamp )on the envelope when you need to send the letter inside ( and the envelope ) .The word" tem" in "tem thuế" means "fiscal stamp ". " Tem chất lượng " that is stuck on the cover of one product may help us know if it has good quality.
" Bưu chính " means " postal service" or " post".

In short,if according to my knowledge, the word " tem " is not only related to sending or receiving something ( like letter, package ,...) from smwhere to esle where by postal service but the word " bưu chính" is only related to it.

The sentence" quyet giu vung troi hai gao cua To Quoc " can't be translated in to Vietnamese exactly without Vietnamese diacritics
    ( `, ',~,. ).
Maybe, you missed the diacritics while writing. You should complete the sentence so as I can help you.

    Best Regards to all,
Greetings Bob, I translated some of your previous posts, so I you are collecting stamps or you have quite a few old letters which you want to publish them thru a website?

    'tem' means ' stamp'
' bưu chính' means ' postal'
These 2 words should go together and read ' Tem bưu chính' = Postal stamp.

"quyet giu vung troi hai gao cua to quọc"should read " Quyết giữ vùng trời hải đảo của tổ quốc" meaning "Defend every inch of our skies and seas"

Good job, I would not have gotten that due to the misspelling of the word "đảo".
