I am not sure that I am old enough to get your answer. Beside, I don't really understand exactly that either you want to be her friend or you want to refuse her. But I can tell that in VietNam the flowers are very rare to be use between man and girl except there is something happening between them both that they want to getting more closer such as a boyfriend & girlfriend. In viet nam, a guy can present flowers to a girl, even that girl is not a close friend. You can buy a flower, but red rose. A bunch of flowers is more reasonable.
Well, beyond of love is friend. It defends on how her knowledge on the flowers' meaningful, I think
