i need help with these words. confuse on how to use

cùng - ??? when do i use this. i hear it in songs like cùng nhau but i am not 100% how to use it
mà - i know what this means but i am very confuse when to use it and why, i see this word so many times in books
thôi - i know what this word means but am also confuse when to use it
assume - (i assume we are going to eat now because everyone is here)
suppose - (i am suppose to be in 12th grade but i fail 11th grade)
make up - (sorry i am late, i will make up for the lost time by giving you a free car ride)
trouble - (i am in trouble so my mom hit me)
so - (so, you want to go out with me)

Cùng nhau = cùng =~ together in this context : We walk to school together. Chúng tôi cùng nhau đi bộ tới trường. Or chúng tôi cùng đi bộ tới trường.

Mà: Vậy mà =~ but. Vậy mà nó nói cái xe đó của nó. But, she said that was her car.

Mà: mà em co muốn đi ăn không? So, do you want to go [out] and dine [with me] ? This is usually used colloquially.

Đi mà = ~ please (begging) Làm ơn đi mà. Please help [me].

Thôi:
Stop: thôi, đừng nói với tôi nữa! Stop, don't talk to me anymore!
Divorce (verb). Họ thôi nhau rồi. They divorced [each] other.
thôi mà: =~ please. Thôi mà, giúp một tay đi. Please lend [me] a hand.

Assume: I am not sure the best translation when used in this context.

Suppose: =~ đáng lẽ ra (only in this context). Đáng lẽ ra tôi phải học lớp 12 nhưng tôi rơi lớp 11.

Make up =~ đền bù lại (only in this context). Tôi xin lỗi vì tôi trễ, để đền bù lại tôi sẽ không lấy tiền chuyến này.

in trouble =~ có tội. Tôi có tội nên mẹ tôi đánh tôi.
