Getting an apology from a Vietnamese woman

I am an English woman living in London. My husband, also English, last year had a 6 month affair with a Vietnamese woman, 20 years in this country. I found out, was devastated but to cut a long story short, my husband is back with me. Whilst he is very very contrite and apologetic, the other woman, although I have approached her politely, has never apologised, even though she had a lot to do with initiating the affair. She is obviously very ashamed and disturbed by being "found out" but seems unable to apologise. Can someone who knows something about Vietnamese culture explain why this is and perhaps suggest a way to get an apology? I believe it would benefit her as well as helping me put this horrible episode behind me. Thank you.

Its very sad for your husband, he is not doing right with you and Vietnamese woman. He should apologies the woman and you. It is ethically right for you.
