I am very sorry to her about your fathers passing, my condolences and thoughts go out to you and your family. I hope things get better and you are able to go back to finish your studies.

I have stayed very busy with work and making my wine this fall and looking forward to some time to relax soon.

    Take care,
    Dan

because during my short few months here I have already been to at least 5 funerals of friends'/colleagues' fathers/brothers/relatives!

And most of my expat friends had the same experience!! Not really sure about the life expectancy here, but condolences messages like this is really helpful!
