Default Can "I" go with "is"?

We always see people use "I am ...", but is this sentence right if written "I am the ninth letter in the alphabet" ?

    Thank you!

Anyone who teaches me one word - even half a word - is still my teacher.
    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Please correct my grammar as you see fit. Much appreciated!

If the letter "I" is speaking for itself then the "am" is right, otherwise it must be is.

That's what im trying to say.
If a student make a sentence with "I"

"I is the ninth letter in the alphabet"

    would this be correct also?

"I" here is ngôi thứ 3 số ít, not ngối thứ nhất số ít

Btw, how do you say "ngôi thứ nhất, nhì, ba" số nhiều/số ít

    Thank you so much!

DT, I am not very sure what your question is , but I can give you my "guessing" answer.

    Ngôi thứ I
số ít : I (am) (was)
    Số nhiều: We (are) (were)
    Ngôi thứ II
Số ít Và số nhiều : You (are) (were)
    Ngôi thứ III
    Số ít: he,she,it (is)(was)
    Số nhiều: They (are) (were)

    Am I missing anything ?

    Correct

    A plural example:

"I" and "T" are letters of the alphabet.

Think of it as: "I" and "T" (they) are letters ot the alphabet

The word "they" is a plural word, so the plural form of the verb is necessary

The correct sentence should be as follow:

"I" is the ninth letter in the alphabet

    When you say:

"I am the ninth letter in the alphabet," you're telling people that you are a ninth letter in the alphabet, That means you are not human ...

    It's perfectly okay to say:

    I am a tree

    I am a duck

    "I" is easy to write

    "I" is a cute letter

"I is" = telling people about the letter I

"I am" = telling people about yourself
