Default How to write a wedding card?

I'm invited to a White couple wedding.
Would any one please show me how to write a wedding card please?
I'm a study buddy of the groom. I also bought a visa gift card because I heard people said that Americans dont usually give cash. Should I remove the cover of the gift card which shows how much the gift card has?

    Thank you tons!!!

    1st Version:
Anyone who teaches me one word - even half a word - is still my teacher.
    2nd Version:
Even he who teaches me the smallest bit can still be called my teacher

Please correct my grammar as you see fit. Much appreciated!

Don't remove the cover of the gift card.

Buy cards from Hallmark and sign your name. That should be enough.
